Smart manufacturing empowers low-carbon development—Wuhu Qianchao Intelligent Manufacturing has been awarded the municipal-level “Green Factory” title.

On April 1, the Wuhu Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology released the latest list of municipal-level green factories, and Qianchao Zhizao Wuhu Co., Ltd. was included. In recent years, Wuhu Qianchao Zhizao has closely adhered to the development philosophy of green manufacturing, actively investing in production practices that deeply integrate intelligent manufacturing with green production, thus forging a green manufacturing path characterized by low carbon emissions and reduced energy consumption.
Ideology first, system ensures.
The company has established a leading group for the creation of green factories and, in accordance with green development indicators, has formulated a green manufacturing management plan. Through years of systematic development, the company has not only maintained its certifications under the three management systems—IATF 16949 quality management system, ISO 14001 environmental management system, and ISO 45001 occupational health and safety management system—but also successfully passed the energy management system certification audit in 2025 and obtained the ISO 50001 energy management system certification. As a result, the company has become an automotive parts manufacturer that has achieved certification under all four major international management systems.
Smart manufacturing, low-carbon operation
The company is actively building a “5G + Industrial Internet” factory ecosystem, establishing 58 intelligent production lines with a 100% equipment connectivity rate and real-time monitoring of process parameters. It has also constructed digital MES workshops and implemented refined material management through WMS systems, moving toward full-process informationization, paperlessness, and intelligent manufacturing. The smart automated warehouse deployed in 2024 adopts a “gantry stacker crane + AGV collaboration” system, which boosts inventory turnover and warehouse space utilization. Moreover, the digital scheduling system reduces empty-trip rates, enhances transportation efficiency, and lowers motor energy consumption.
Energy conservation and consumption reduction, green development
The company has established a comprehensive green management system covering the entire value chain, including R&D design, production manufacturing, and warehousing & logistics. It has formulated clear and specific energy policies and objectives, and continuously carries out publicity campaigns to promote energy conservation and reduce consumption. A distributed photovoltaic power generation project with an installed capacity of 60,000 square meters has been deployed on the rooftops of factory buildings, generating 5.8 million kilowatt-hours of electricity annually—satisfying 25% of the plant’s total electricity demand and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 3,370 tons per year.
Standing at a new starting point as a municipal-level “Green Factory,” Wuhu Qianchao Intelligent Manufacturing will continue to uphold its mission of “Making the air cleaner,” persistently promoting clean, low-carbon, and intelligent energy management within the company, and contributing green manufacturing efforts toward achieving the “dual carbon” goals.
