Planetary roller screw (thigh)
Applied to the thighs of humanoid robots, this planetary ball screw is one of the core components that enable humanoid robots to perform dynamic movements such as running, squatting, and jumping. Available in diameters ranging from 18 to 30 mm, it can be made from materials including bearing steel and medium-carbon alloy steel, and is manufactured using processes such as turning, grinding, cold rolling, and cyclone milling. After undergoing heat treatments like carburizing quenching and induction hardening, it achieves both excellent wear resistance and high load-carrying capacity. Through multi-step composite machining, it ensures an axial clearance of ≤0.02 mm, a transmission efficiency of ≥85%, and a precision level of ≥P5.
