Since the beginning of this year, the Qianchao Bearing Workshop has taken on a new look, with multiple SAP workstations now in place. Each workstation is equipped with a computer specifically configured for the SAP system that Wanxiang Qianchao is currently rolling out. The workstations are also provided with operation manuals, enabling staff to quickly and easily enter various production data. For example, personnel responsible for material issuance and receipt can directly input data on material requisitions, shipments, and labor reports right at the site. All this data is synchronized with the SAP system, forming the data foundation for the SAP system.

The SAP system is a fundamental and crucial component of the financial module within Wanxiang Qianchao’s digital intelligence project. By leveraging SAP, we have established a standardized and规范化 enterprise operation management platform that takes logistics and supply chain management as its core thread and financial management as its central focus, comprehensively building a management information system that supports both business operations and long-term development strategies. The system can rapidly, in real time, and in an integrated manner reflect changes in personnel, finances, assets, and related information—achieving standardization and unification of master data. It integrates master data such as customers, suppliers, and materials into unified codes and synchronizes them across all Wanxiang Qianchao companies. The system also enables online execution of all processes, ensuring that each business transaction is seamlessly linked and continuously optimized. Furthermore, it achieves integration between business and finance, with all business activities reflected in financial records in real time as data. Finally, it facilitates unified management of data across Wanxiang Qianchao headquarters and its various companies, as well as between parent companies and their subsidiaries. The system covers multiple areas including procurement, production, sales, finance, quality, and equipment. Launched in September 2021, the bearing company went live in early January 2022, followed by Huainan Bearing and Jiangsu Qianchao Bearing in early April 2022. Currently, the system operates stably, with significant improvements in both basic data management and business process efficiency.

Wanxiang Qianchao is vigorously promoting its Digital Intelligence Initiative, undertaking comprehensive and multi-faceted improvements across various dimensions—including the implementation of KPI and performance systems, optimization of organizational structure and processes, capability building, and exploration of value potential. Currently, the Digital Intelligence Initiative has completed the overall blueprint design for full network coverage and has kicked off module innovations, starting with production operations and procurement supply chains. To support the realization of the full-network coverage blueprint, Wanxiang Qianchao has reorganized and optimized its organizational structure. Taking Jinggong Headquarters as a pilot, it has finalized staffing and job descriptions for all departments and positions, and has developed KPIs and established performance dialogue mechanisms tailored to the responsibilities of each position, gradually setting up a continuous improvement mechanism centered on data-driven and performance-based dialogue processes. Wanxiang Qianchao is also focusing on business needs by enhancing employee capabilities, having conducted more than 30 specialized capability training programs in total. At present, five factories—Jinggong Headquarters, Jinggong Jiangsu, Bearing Headquarters, Huainan Bearing, and Jiangsu Qianchao Bearing—are taking the lead in launching the initiative. Starting from multiple aspects such as UPPH enhancement, OEE improvement, cost reduction, supplier integration, and category strategies, these factories are steadily implementing concrete measures to achieve incremental efficiency gains.

Next, digital and intelligent engineering will gradually expand from digital and intelligent operations to modules such as finance, human resources, R&D, and marketing. By digitally and intelligently upgrading each module, we will achieve comprehensive coverage through a single network. As business models continue to innovate and digital and automated scenarios are deployed and applied, the construction of digital and intelligent engineering will center on data- and intelligence-driven workflows, with continuous improvement as our goal, thereby helping Wanxiang Qianchao keep advancing steadily.
