Wanxiang Qianchao AI Workshop: Strengthening the Foundation of AI Practice and Empowering Business to Enhance Quality and Efficiency
2025-11-21
Since launching the “AI Agent Matrix Initiative” in 2024, Wanxiang Qianchao has been continuously deepening its “AI-led, Systemically Coordinated” strategy and has successfully been selected as a benchmark enterprise for AI application scenarios and AI applications in Zhejiang Province for 2025. Recently, the company further introduced AI workshops, aiming to systematically enhance employees’ awareness of AI technologies and their engineering practice capabilities through a co-creation workshop approach. This initiative will facilitate the transformation of traditional roles into “AI-enhanced” positions, cultivating a group of business backbones within the company who are proactive in embracing AI, adept at applying AI, and capable of effectively leveraging AI technologies to empower production and manufacturing, thereby accelerating the development of the company’s core AI competencies.
The workshop unfolded in three progressive stages—“Building a Theoretical Foundation—Co-creating Scenarios—Putting Solutions into Practice.” Eleven teams from various business domains actively participated, co-creating solutions tailored to specific business scenarios and transforming their acquired knowledge into actionable business solutions. This effort yielded solid results, laying a robust foundation for empowering all employees with AI capabilities and driving digital and intelligent transformation across the entire value chain.
01 Theoretical Foundation

The first session of the workshop focuses on “Enterprise-Level Agent Cognition and Data Knowledge Engineering,” systematically introducing AI fundamentals and the underlying principles of agent technology, while also providing an in-depth explanation of methodologies for data cleansing and knowledge graph construction. During the class, participants demonstrated a strong thirst for knowledge, proactively asking questions and engaging in thorough discussions around topics such as the application boundaries of agent technology and practical challenges in data preparation. The instructor addressed their queries by drawing on real-world industry experiences, fostering a highly interactive and engaging learning environment. After the class, a theoretical assessment was administered to ensure that participants have firmly grasped the core concepts and laid a solid foundation for subsequent hands-on practice.
02 Co-creation of Scenarios

The second session of the workshop, themed “Co-creation through Exploration of AIGC Cases and Business Scenarios,” featured specially invited industry experts sharing their practical experiences in using AIGC. Participants were highly enthusiastic and, leveraging standardized tools, engaged in group discussions centered on business pain points and technical feasibility. They identified a batch of high-value application scenarios and, based on four key stages—scenario identification, value assessment, implementation and delivery, and ongoing operations—produced comprehensive research reports that clearly outlined AI implementation pathways, thereby fully preparing participants for the hands-on activities of the third session of the workshop.
03 Practical Implementation and Execution

The third session of the workshop has entered the stage of "AIGC Platform Operation and Scenario-Based Practice." After mastering the basic operations, the participants divided into groups and completed the development and debugging of simple intelligent agents. During the pitch session, each group showcased their functional modules and application results: The supply chain group’s intelligent agent plugin module was compact yet highly refined, and is expected to significantly enhance the efficiency of systems such as SAP; the safety and environmental protection group’s employee safety training intelligent agent can efficiently organize training materials and generate assessment questions... Grounded in their respective business scenarios, each group demonstrated rich creativity and strong potential for practical implementation, laying a solid foundation for subsequent feature enhancements and comprehensive empowerment.

From office scenarios to critical manufacturing environments, and covering the entire business chain—from production and R&D to the supply chain—Wanxiang Qianchao is fostering an AI ecosystem characterized by "knowledge that flows freely, capabilities that are quantifiable, and value that circulates continuously." This workshop marks the entry of Wanxiang Qianchao’s AI empowerment into a new phase of "large-scale replication."
To continuously build an AI-enhanced talent pool and accumulate industry-level solutions, the company will also launch an “Enterprise Agent Development Competition.” Adopting a “challenge-based” approach, the competition will focus on core scenarios such as production manufacturing, quality control, and supply chain collaboration, and will solicit intelligent agent solutions from all employees. The competition will establish multi-dimensional evaluation criteria and provide resource support for outstanding achievements, creating a closed-loop system of “training—practice—competition—application.” This initiative will promote the integration of AI technology across the “R&D, production, supply, sales, service, and management” domains. By deploying 19 full-value-chain AI agents, we will inject sustained momentum into Wanxiang Qianchao’s digital and intelligent transformation, helping the company take its high-quality development to a new level.
