On August 11,2026, Xu Jiping, the director of Zhejiang Provincial Expert Committee on Smart Manufacturing led a delegation to Wanxiang Qianchao to conduct a special research visit on the practical application of artificial intelligence technology in the manufacturing sector and to engage in in-depth discussions regarding the company’s progress in building intelligent equipment systems. This visit served not only as an assessment of Wanxiang Qianchao’s achievements in digital and intelligent transformation but also provided valuable guidance for the company’s next phase of in-depth development in smart manufacturing.
At the research symposium, Wei Fangfang, General Manager of the Wanxiang Qianchao Digital and Intelligent Innovation Center, presented to the expert panel an analysis of the company’s current status regarding the intelligent upgrade of equipment operation and maintenance, and shared practical insights and lessons learned from the implementation of AI. Zhu Zhihao, an AI engineer at the Digital and Intelligent Innovation Center, delivered a systematic report on the practical progress of using artificial intelligence to empower the manufacturing sector, highlighting the overall technical architecture of the equipment intelligence system, typical application scenarios, as well as the practical experience and in-depth insights gained during the project’s implementation. The content of these presentations drew significant attention from the expert panel.
At the conclusion of the visit, Director Xu Jiping addressed Wanxiang Qianchao, encouraging the company to boldly take the lead in the field of intelligent equipment, continue to deepen the integration of AI and manufacturing, drive industrial upgrading through digital and intelligent innovation, and truly become a pioneering force and model for AI-empowered manufacturing.
