From late July to August, driven by D Company’s massive export orders for vehicles and the concentrated mass production of new “9+N” user projects, enterprises such as Wanxiang Tongda Genuoer Branch, Wuhan Judi, and our own factory all experienced months of high output.

On July 10, after receiving market information indicating that Company D planned to export 6,500 commercial vehicles overseas, the Wancheng Tongda Genuoer branch swiftly launched a coordinated response, meticulously planning for order acquisition, market share competition, and supply assurance. The company fully met the high-end, exclusive requirements for this batch of exported vehicles and secured a 100% supply share.
After receiving the order, the company faced a significant delivery challenge: each exported vehicle is equipped with two fuel tanks—a primary and a secondary tank—and a total of 10,000 fuel tanks for 5,000 vehicles needed to be delivered in August. In addition to urgently procuring raw materials and sensors and ensuring that product quality meets stringent standards, the most daunting challenge was the shortage of operational staff. To tackle this issue, the entire company rallied together, with employees volunteering enthusiastically. The company temporarily suspended frontline high-temperature holidays and some regular days off, and raised the daily production target for the welding and assembly lines—from 125 units per shift to 145 units per shift. Furthermore, the first five critical processes—such as bending and straight-seam welding—were extended by an additional 70 units per shift, effectively covering the output required for half a night shift. To ensure timely daily production and delivery, the company also mobilized Party members and key personnel from the logistics and administrative departments to take up positions on the front lines. Thanks to the concerted efforts of all employees, the company managed to double its production output without hiring any additional workers. As a result, not only did the company successfully complete the production and delivery of fuel tanks for exported vehicles, but it also fully met the delivery requirements of all other customers.
In August, along with the persistently sweltering and scorching weather, Wuhan Judi’s pace of upgrading and accelerating development also “heated up” significantly—three major new projects are set to begin mass deliveries this month, including: 51,000 sets of DM5.0 brackets and housings for B Company’s hybrid vehicles; 180,000 sets of five different parts—including inductor boxes and electrical mounting plates—for M Company; and an order from North American T Company for MY25 three-way pipes, which increased from 200 sets in July to 8,000 sets in August. These new projects have pushed beyond the company’s traditional stamping processes and placed even higher demands on product welding quality. Successfully completing these new projects at high quality and in large volumes is of great significance for solidifying and strengthening supply-chain partnerships with customers, as well as for speeding up the company’s upgrade and development.
To ensure high-quality delivery of these new projects, Wuhan Judi has made meticulous arrangements—based on actual conditions—in areas such as production scheduling and human resource allocation: The summer heat break has been canceled, and the entire month is scheduled for full-capacity production; a “Double 12” work system has been launched, under which the day shift frontline workers are scheduled for 12-hour shifts, while four bottleneck processes—including bracket nut welding—are kept running continuously with workers taking breaks but machines remaining operational; additionally, a 12-hour night shift has been arranged. At the same time, special production task forces have been organized, and each day, employees from the logistics department are assigned to work on the front lines to fill in for regular staff. All these new projects were completed on schedule in August, and their quality fully met customer requirements. To meet the increased demand for these new projects in the later stages, Wuhan Judi has already begun advancing projects such as the automation of double-head chamfering for Company M and the optimization of the welding and shaping process for three-way pipe fittings at Company T. By implementing automation and process optimization, we aim to boost efficiency and alleviate the workload pressure on frontline employees.
In August, driven by market growth from companies such as D and S, Wanxiang Tongda’s own factory also achieved impressive results, with output value increasing by 20% year-on-year.
Faced with the various adverse effects of the prolonged high-temperature weather on achieving high yields, all enterprises under Wanxiang Tongda have overcome difficulties and responded proactively. The vast majority of employees have put the overall interests of the enterprise first, braving the intense heat and battling the scorching summer temperatures, working day and night on the front lines of production. They have launched one tough battle after another to ensure supply and have made their due contributions to guaranteeing timely deliveries.
