Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released the “2025 5G Factory Directory,” and Wanxiang Precision’s “Smart Manufacturing 5G Fully Connected Factory for Automotive Components” was included in the list.
To deeply implement the innovation and development strategy for the industrial internet, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology continues to promote high-quality development and large-scale application of “5G+Industrial Internet,” aiming to build a Chinese brand for 5G factories. After undergoing procedures including local recommendations, expert reviews, and public announcements, the list of 5G factories for 2025 has been finalized.
Wanxiang Jinggong System is advancing the development of digital design and intelligent production management capabilities. It has achieved full coverage of a dedicated 5G private network transmission system and has successfully implemented multiple application modules tailored to real-world scenarios, including 5G+AI visual quality inspection and 5G+remote equipment control. This has enabled the establishment of a highly efficient and collaborative industrial data internet, allowing workshop production equipment, logistics units, and inspection terminals to achieve millisecond-level interactive responses. As a result, quality inspection and equipment maintenance processes have been effectively optimized, and data silos across production lines, as well as barriers between various management systems and business processes, have been broken down. This has facilitated seamless interconnection and integrated sharing of production equipment data, promoted transparent and smooth information flow among different departments. Data shows that the company’s production efficiency has increased by 15%, energy consumption per ten thousand yuan of output has decreased by 16%, product defect rates have dropped by 35%, operating costs have been reduced by 15%, and product development cycles have been shortened by 25%.
Wanxiang Jinggong continues to refine its expertise in the field of intelligent manufacturing and has successively been recognized as a 5G Fully-Connected Factory in Zhejiang Province for 2023, a Future Factory (Leading Model) in Zhejiang Province for 2024, and an Advanced-Level Intelligent Factory in Zhejiang Province for 2025. This selection as a national-level 5G factory represents yet another significant leap forward in the company’s journey toward intelligent manufacturing, fully demonstrating the profound transformation brought about by next-generation information technology in empowering industrial development and fostering new forms of productivity.
