The 4th Dengfeng Biography Book Award has been announced, and "Leading the Tide: The Story of Lu Guanqiu" has been named a Book of the Year.
Recently, the results of the 4th Dengfeng Biography Book Awards 2024 were grandly announced, with ten biographical works standing out. Among them, "Leading the Tide: The Story of Lu Guanquan" was named a Book of the Year.
The Dengfeng Biography Book Award was established in December 2021. It is a book award dedicated to the genre of business biographies, aiming to recognize outstanding biographical works and bring more people into contact with books that shine with wisdom and human warmth. The award evaluates submissions across eight key dimensions: book theme, editorial approach, writing style, chapter logic, depth of content, intellectual inspiration, relevance to contemporary trends, and topicality and public discussion throughout the year.
“Leading the Tide: The Story of Lu Guanqiu,” written by the renowned reportage author Chen Guanbo, is a lengthy nonfiction work exclusively authorized for publication by Wanxiang Group. Using a narrative style that flows like a story, the book integrates characters, events, and historical documents to comprehensively portray the entrepreneurial saga—from a rural blacksmith’s workshop to a multinational conglomerate spanning multiple industries.
