Recently, the "Ball Screw Bearing Unit for Automotive Wire-Controlled Braking System" project submitted by Wanxiang Qianchao has passed the review of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology and has been successfully included in the 2025 Provincial-Level New Industrial Product Development Project Approval Plan.
Currently, wire-controlled chassis have become a golden track for the intelligent development of automobiles. As the penetration rate of key components such as wire-controlled braking systems, electric power steering systems, and electronic parking systems continues to rise, the market demand and application scale for ball screws are also expanding rapidly. As an essential transmission component that enables bidirectional conversion between rotary and linear motion, ball screw bearings boast significant advantages—including high precision, reversibility, and high efficiency—and are widely used in high-end equipment fields such as automobiles, humanoid robots, machine tools, automated production lines, and aerospace applications.
Based on the company’s strategic layout in the “Dynamic Intelligent Control” field, Wanxiang Qianchao is seizing the development opportunities brought by the electrification and intelligentization of automobiles. Taking advantage of the window period for domestic substitution of ball screw bearing units, the company has designated automotive screws as a key breakthrough point, establishing a dedicated R&D team. Leveraging its core technologies in precision universal joints and high-speed ball bearings, Wanxiang Qianchao is systematically carrying out R&D and industrialization efforts for ball screws used in automotive wire-controlled braking systems, striving to overcome critical technological bottlenecks and tackle the challenges posed by “chokehold” products.

It possesses independent intellectual property rights, with its technical level reaching or exceeding the domestic advanced standard.
